He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sheila (Neville); his daughters, Mary Jane Shields and Maggie Shields Corden; his grandchildren, Thomas Corden and Katie Chesbro (Collin); his great grandchildren, Gibson and Lawson Chesbro; his siblings, Brian of Victoria, B. C. and Helen Hensler of New Jersey; and his parents, Timothy Shields (Tommy) and Jean (Newton).

In memory of Tom, donations would be appreciated at the Ottawa Mission and Harvest House.
