She is survived by: her son Brian Gallagher (Judy); her son-in-law Jim Stewart; her grandchildren, Deb Hickey (Mike), Terri Pinch and David Stewart (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Lindsay Pinch (Daniel), Tiffany Hickey and Liam Hickey; her siblings, Winnifred Patterson (late Frank), Betty Faith (late Bill), Dwayne Holmes (late Phyllis) and Richard Holmes (Ellie); her daughter Maureen Stewart; and her siblings, Mabel Summers (late Laurie), Stuart Holmes (Joyce), Fred Holmes (Barbara) and Larrie Holmes (Orleen).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel Ridge Free Methodist Church (5660 Flewellyn Rd, Ottawa, ON K2S1S3).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of the giver's choice, in honor of her compassionate and generous spirit.
