He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maheswary Thanabalasingam; his parents, Ponnudurai and Annapillai; his children, Ranjan, Thayalan and Vasuki; his daughters-in-law, Malathy, Vasuki and Shenthan; his grandchildren, Jaiyson, Cherran, Thuran, Arushan, Saieasan and Saithian; and his sister Aravinthan (Prabaharan). He was also cherished by 6 siblings, 25 nieces and nephews.
