He is survived by: his wife Aru Chock; his children, Seetha Chockalingam, Poongodi Chockalingam, Renuga Chockalingam and Siva Chockalingam; his sons-in-law, Ramasamy Nallamuthupillai, Muthu Krishnan Arunachalam and Radha Krishnan Nallamuthu; and his grandchildren, Sahana Radhakrishnan, Nanthana Radhakrishnan, Arnesh Radhakrishnan and Sonika Muthu Krishnan.
