With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Silvio Colasante (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on February 12, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Silvio departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Silvio may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Silvio leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Teresa and Antonio; his siblings, Nicola and Silvana Artelle (Randy); and his niece Cassandra "Belle".
He is survived by: his children, Krista and Nicholas; and his uncles, Rocco (Maria), Damaso (late Rosa) and Domenic (Noreen).
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
