We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2021, Shirley Gunter (Ottawa, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Gunter to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her son Glenn; her parents, Olive Poapst and Carleton Poapst; and her sisters, Carole Paul and Geri Stoodley.

She is survived by: her husband William Gunter (Bill); the mothers of children, Elaine (John Mowbray) and Janet (Pierre Gagnon); her grandchildren, Alana Krause, Sarah Mowbray, Lyssa Gagnon and Danika Gagnon; and her great grandchildren, Fiona, Grayson Krause, Tilley and Hugo Quinlan.

Due to COVID restrictions only immediate local family will be in attendance at the Interment at Pinecrest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the University Ottawa Heath Institute or the charity of your choice.
