He is survived by: his parents, Lianne and Brian; his sibling Lauren; his grandparents, James Cowieson and Carole Aymer; his aunts and uncles, Susan Brandow (Eric), Michael Wilson, Lisa Boughton (Chris), Pam Mosekjaer (Paul), Jim Cowieson (Laurie McLean), Sandra Kastrukoff (late Lorne), Tim Cowieson and Kevin Cowieson (Toral); his cousins, Alex Brandow (Lisa), Danielle Orford (Andrew) and Michael; and his friend Mario Kart.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps (https://timscamps.com) or Pflag Canada would be appreciated by the family.
