Sandra Cavan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Cavan (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Berwick, Ontario, who passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Ouderkirk and Birdie Ouderkirk (Murphy); and her siblings, Douglas, Jackie, Sheila Hume, Erma Pettit, Fairley Thompson, Audrey Whitman, Doris Conrad and Valerie Ouderkirk.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Cavan; her children, Jacqueline (late Yves) and Charles (Sarah) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Adam (Mariko), Amanda, Dennis and Charlie Angel Mackenzie (Brycen); her great grandchildren, Mikah, Myles, Ethan and Kayden; and her siblings, Oscar Ouderkirk (Lois), Lois Hawke, Eleanor St. Pierre, Rita Dingwall (Eldred) and John Ouderkirk (Cathy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

To honour Sandra's wishes, and due to Covid restrictions a private visitation will be held.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
