Ruth Viner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Viner (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on June 14, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Macy and Freda Macy; and her siblings, Murray (Mary) and Sandra (Jacie Levinson). She is survived by: her children, Gary (Debra), Robert (Jennifer Freeman), Norman (Margo) and Susan (Gillie Vered); her grandchildren, Alisa (Jeff Wheeldon), Sara (Daniel Spence), Lauren (Bryan Fishbein), Jason, Lenny, Amelia, Joshua (Andrea Ross), Isaac, Noah and Elie; her great grandchildren, Arielle, Jonah, Ezra, Seth and Ethan; and her sister Shirley (Mike Molot).
With Joe, she established the Ruth and Joseph Viner Endowment Fund of the Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation (http://www.ojcf.ca) and the family would prefer donations to that fund or to one of your choice in lieu of flowers.
