It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Shearman in Ottawa, Ontario, born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Ernest Williams Shearman; her son Peter Shearman; her parents, Yvan "John" Krashevski and Katherina (Mychaluk); and her siblings, Mary Rosa, Olga (Dan Saba) and Charles Krashevski (Jacqueline).
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Kealey; her children-in-law, Bruce Kealey, Mary Shearman Reid and Steve Reid; her grandchildren, John Kealey (Connie), Mary Shearman (Ren Florence) and Mark Kealey (Sabrina); and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Mariana, River and Lydia.
