He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Raskin and Sarah Raskin; his daughter Lori; and his grandson Noah. He is survived by: his wife Roslyn Spiegel; his sons, Ian, Brian (Lisa) and Steven; and his grandchildren, Robbie (Melissa), Sammy, Adam, Casey, Cori and Sebastian.

Canadians to this day continue to benefit from his enduring contributions to the nation's defense systems and communications infrastructure.
