He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith McAinsh (Cormack) and Archibald McAinsh; his wife Mary; his siblings, Peter, Howard, Donald and Doris Martin; and his nephew Michael Larchenko.
He is survived by: his children, Gordon, Nancy and Robert (Karen); his grandchildren, Molly, Mandy, Adam, Laura, Heather and David; his brother-in-law Michael Kachura (Betty); his stepdaughter Nadia McGoldrick (Frank); his granddaughters, Kathryn (Keith Evans) and Alana; and his great grandchildren, Sam and Grace Evans.
