With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Dougherty of Ottawa, Ontario, born in Beachburg, Ontario, who passed away on January 3, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold and Marjorie; his spouse Lynn Dougherty; his siblings, Eleanor McLaughlin, Bethea Little (Ralph), Marg Behnke (Terry), Lynn Hawthorne and Robert Dougherty; his children, Trevor (Teena), Travis (Selain) and Tristan (Amy); and his grandchildren, Kourtney, Trinity, Sawyer, Kyra, Kaden, Wyatt and Tessa.

“My sincere condolences to the family. Ron worked for me for a number of years. He was an amazing worker who brought a lot of fun and humour to the workplace. Our discussion of seals and ABC rings will always bring me a chuckle. We continued to cross paths over the years and he was always willing to lend a hand with a project, lend me a tool or find someone who could help me. He did so with a smile and a few jokes.
