He was predeceased by: his parents, Amedee and Georgina Viau (Dube). He is survived by: his wife Juliette Viau (Gravelle); his children, Michel, Guy, Claude (Christine), Lisette (Ronald), Nicole (late Claude) and Jean (Lucie); his grandchildren, Melanie, Julien, Patrick, Manon, Chantal and Pierre; his great grandchildren, Ludovic, Everick and Annabelle; his brother-in-law Camille Gravelle (Shirley); and his siblings, Edgar, Ronald, Clairette Legault and Huguette Viau.
