He was predeceased by: his brothers, Kiko, Pedring, Bening and Eding; and his parents, Benito Briones and Maria Briones.

He is survived by: his spouse Lou Briones; his children, Albert Briones (Nenette), Gliceria, Maria Elena Briones-Lafontaine (Marc Lafontaine) and Belinda; his grandchildren, Hanelyn Briones Dagsaan (RJ), Edward (Daisy), Anne Margaret, Allen and Gabriel Lafontaine; his great grandchildren, Kim and Jem Briones; and his sister Josefina Briones Estacio.
