He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Tyo and Beatrice Séguin; his wife Louise Fortier Tyo; and his siblings, Rudolphe (Mickey) and Irene.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne (John Whiston), Richard (Andrea) and Mike; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Jessica, Kristine, Marushka, Benjamin, Vincent and Francis; his great grandchildren, Hailey and Harlyn; his sister Linda; and his sister-in-law Denise (Roger Gingras). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
