He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace A Lester and Lillian Lester; and his siblings, Gwen, Pauline, Allan Ray "Petey" and Kenneth Lester.

He is survived by: his children, Cathy Lester, Steve Lester (Linda Novis) and Glenn; his grandchildren, Lauren (Jay), Matthew, Cristian, Vanessa, Paige, Olivia, Ben, Nik and Gregor; his great grandchildren, Savannah and Andre; and his nephew Wayne Lester. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
