He was predeceased by: his parents, Henri Fournier and Eugénie Michaud; and his wife Thérèse Fournier. He is survived by: his children, Denis, Christiane (Mark) and Luc Joseph (Jin); his grandchildren, Tyler, Laurence, Justin, Winston and Wilhelm; and his siblings, Réjean, Claude, Noëlla, Aline and Hélène. He is also survived by his in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends.
