He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Atkinson and Celena Atkinson (Dale); and his brother Dale (Marilyn). He is survived by: his significant other Mary (Taylor); his daughters, Judy Stratas (Ted) and Janice Frank; his grandchildren, Matthew (Helen), Greg (Jess), Shannon (Brett), Bryan (Sarah), Chris (Tara) and Ashleigh (Brad); his great grandchildren, Hope, Carter, Easton, Daniel, Ava and Isabel; his sister Phyllis Leslie (Gord); and also, Anne Taylor, Erin Walsh, Matthew Walsh and Ryan Taylor (Emily).
