He was predeceased by: his father Allen Hirst. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Bryant; his wife Laurie Hirst; his children, Jennifer Parker (Scott) and Michael Hirst (Margot); his grandchildren, Alice, Kaylee, Connor, Kaia, Brienne, Fiona and Rowan; his siblings, Carolyn Tonge (Richard) and Mark Hirst (Heather); his stepmother Margaret Hirst; and his stepsister Denise Oricco (Robert).
