“hello. It was indeed a shock to hear that Bob had passed away. i went to high school with Bob in Hamilton and by absolute chance some 45 years later, found we lived on the same street in Ottawa.. we even got a chance to toss the football around just like in our teenage years. my sincerest condolences to Peggy and the family. i recently lost a brother and fully understand what you are going thru now. it was a pleasure to know Bob and hope the family will carry on his torch. “So sad to hear of Bob's passing. We shared great times in Hamilton along with our friends many years ago. I recall being at the D'Aurelio's house and Bob was ecstatic with The Beatles release of "Help" in 1965. I also remember going car shopping with Bob when he test drove a VW Beetle. I do not recall if he bought it, but I suspect that it was the first car he ever owned. And, of course, he was enchanted with Peggy from the first moment he saw her.”
