He was predeceased by: his wife Marion Theresa Clare (Nee Driscoll); his parents, Edith Clare and Henry Clare; and his siblings, Betty O'Donnell, Peggy Hardy, Diane Graham, Ronnie and Tommy Clare.

He is survived by: his children, Wade Clare (Barbara Blair), Joanne (late Jean Gauthier) and Judy (Peter Felix); his grandchildren, Jenna Gauthier (Frank Landriault), Gavin Gauthier (Michelle Beaulieu), Kyle and Travis Felix; and his great grandchild Abrielle Landriault. He is also survived by his extended family members and many friends.
