He is survived by: his wife Sandra Rempel; his children, Gaye Diezel, Robert Smalldon of Ottawa and John Smalldon of Listowel; his grandchildren, Cami, Keena, Tara, Robert, Ryan, Shane and Riley; and his stepchild Rempel. He is also survived by many extended family and close friends.
