He was predeceased by: his parents, Irwin Birtch and Irene Findley; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Montagano (Earl) and John Dawson (Marlene). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Dawson (Betty); his sons, Paul (Dianne) and Greg (Mary); his siblings, William (late Gilberte), John (Arlene), Nora Finlay (late Harvey), Donald (Lois) and Patricia York (Cameron Watson); and his sisters-in-law, Helen Mills (late John) and Joan Garland (late Bruce).
