“Dear Lorraine and family please accept my most heartfelt sympathies as I just learned from Bob's cousin André Lalonde that Bob had passed away. I would have gladly attended his service had I been aware but had not read the paper since our return to Ottawa Jan 4 as we were trying to catch up with things left undone before our departure December 21. I trust this finds you well and dearly hope Bob did not suffer too much before he met our maker.”
