He was predeceased by: his sons, Randy and Michael; his parents, Aurele and Anita; his parents-in-law, Richard and Dorothy Cherryholme; his brother Paul; and his brothers-in-law, Richard and John Cherryholme.

He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his sons, Steven (Danielle) and Daniel; his stepson Robert Tomkinson; his great grandchildren, Amanda Sauriol (John Foster), Jordan Sauriol, Andrew Tomkinson, Kyle McCullough, Emma Harrington, Joey Tomkinson Legault, Jaxon Archibald and Fin Foster; his brother Jacques (Kathi); and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Holmes (late Bruce Magnus), Lynda (Richard "Dick" MacKay), Bonnie (John Fowler), Sandra (Dave Forwell) and Susan (Danny McCarthy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
