She was predeceased by: her parents, Lily Brauer and Max Brauer; and her husband Professor J. Graham Smith. She is survived by: her children, Andrew and Alexandra (Dave); her granddaughters, Julia and Sarah; and also, Celia, Ilanna, Betty, Adam, Dana, Jordan, Rosa, Janet, Abie, Malka and Hagit.
