He was predeceased by: his parents, George Théoret and Philomène Théoret; and his siblings, Georgette (late Eloi Lalonde), Jeanne (late Donat Boisvenue), Marie-Ange (late Maurice Hamelin), Léo (late Jeannette), Rhéal (late Rose), Roger (Lucy) and Aimé (Marie-Thérèse).

He is survived by: his wife Madeleine (Ouimet); his children, Yvon, Rachel (Sylvain) and Justin (Julie); his stepgrandchildren, Joaquim, Emeric and Braulie; and his sisters-in-law, Lucy Chisholm and Marie-Thérèse Vallée. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law; his many nieces and nephews and by his many friends.
