He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Sturgeon and Edna Sturgeon. He is survived by: his wife Alice (Smith); his sons, David, Jean-Pierre (Jennifer) and Michel (Rachel); his grandchildren, Carine, Everleigh, Tessa, Cecelia and Jacklyn; his great grandchild Emilia; and his siblings, Carolle (Melvin), Gail (Murray), Brenda, Alice (Jim), John (Tina), Debbie (Wayne), Jennifer (late Don), Ted (late Mitzi) and Cyndy (Kevin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Center or the Beth Donovan Hospice. In memory of Raymond Nelson Sturgeon, please consider making a donation to one of the following charities: Beth Donovan Hospice Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
