He was predeceased by: his parents, Roméo Malette and Bernadette Malette; his siblings, Rénald, Réal, René, Réjean and Réjane; and his siblings-in-law, André, Yvon, Élise, Marie Gagné and Gaston Guillemette.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his daughters, Louise and Andrée-Anne; his son-in-law André Pilon; his grandchildren, Megan (Dave) and Jacob; his siblings, Gaston, Solange and Rachel; and his siblings-in-law, Lucien, Jean-Marc, Solange, Liliane, Nicole, Jaqueline, Laurette, Fernande and Anne. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
