He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile Hashem and Souad Hashem (Habib); and his siblings, Hal (Adma), Khaled (Souraya), Zeina and Rhonda (Chadi Jeshi).
He is survived by: his wife Cheri Palmer; his daughter Emilie Tanya Hashem; his nieces and nephews, Nataly (Olivier Ragain), Emily (James Fredericks), Carly (Kristopher Lavoie) and Dalia; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Luca, Ella, Milo, Sophia, Rafael and Theo. He is also survived by his uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, mother- and father-in-law, brothers- and sisters-in-law, six nieces- and nephews-in-law.
