He was predeceased by: his brother George Baker; his parents, Alfred and Margaret; his stepfather Leonard Thacker; and his mother-in-law Reta Currah.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie (Currah); his daughters, Judy Matthews (Ken), Sandra Baker (Jurgen Wubs), Wendy Evans (Mike) and Debra Baker (Jacque Prudhomme); and his sister Marlene Nixon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
