He was predeceased by: his son Alain; and his parents, Agathe Chéné and Bertrand Chéné. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly; his daughter Christine (Jason Hamilton); his grandchildren, Bapa, Madden and Benoît; and his siblings, Antoinette, Rose, Marc and Bruno.

Arrangements in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, Walkley Chapel, 1255 Walkley Road, Ottawa, ON, K1V 6P9, 613-731-1255. Due to Covid-19, a private family service will be held.

For those who wish to do so, donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County are appreciated.
