She was predeceased by: her grandson James; and her brother John. She is survived by: her children, Anne, Bernie (Mary), John (Donna), Nancy (Gerald Beuman), Elly (Dave Lackey) and Cathy (Stuart Lackey); her grandchildren, Gregory, Sarah, Justin, Trudy, Paul, Scott, Mark, Lorie, Michael, Andrew, Patricia and Steven; and her siblings, Reit, Jan, Betsy, Pete, Lien and Theo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
