She was predeceased by: her former spouse Ramachandra Khandkar; and her sisters, Miek Elich, Els Hamer and Toke Sadée. She is survived by: her children, Sheela (Ross Hoge), Anita (Tom McQueen) and Marcia (Tom Grant); her grandchildren, Karmen, Damon, Jasmine Hoge, Adrian, Kristin Gravel, Melissa and Ryan Grant; her siblings, Hanneke Walet and Nell; and her husband Ram. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
