He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Olson and Ida Olson; his brothers, Fred, Ken, Bob and David Olson; and his nephew Jeffery Olson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Debbie LaChapelle (Brian) of Morrisburg, Douglas Olson (Joanne) of Stittsville, Norman Olson (Debbie) of Orleans, Valerie Lavigueur (Ron) of Embrun and Laurie Blois (Chris) of Ottawa; and his nieces and nephews, Brenda, Bonnie, Steven, Michael (Joan), Christina, Kevin (Christiane), Jody (Nicolas), Kyle (Jessica), Shannon (Martin), Sarah, Erin, Amanda (Dave), Matthew, Andrew and Ryan (Chelsea).
