He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer D'Aoust and Catherine D'Aoust; his spouse Isabel D'Aoust; his siblings, Albert (Myra Colwell) of Jemseg, NB, Edward (Albina McIntyre), Robert (Betsy Boreham) and Anna; his sibling-in-law Ray Farmer of Ottawa; and also Patricia D'Aoust.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bob" (Margaret Babcock) of Waterloo, Joanne McCarthy (Tim) of Ottawa, James "Jim" of California and Jennifer McKay of Toronto; his grandchildren, Lee-Anne D'Aoust of Dubai, Jason D'Aoust (Vicky Lin) of Taiwan, Alexander D'Aoust, Andrew D'Aoust (Brittany Carolin) of Guelph, Amanda Glaus of Ottawa and David McKay of Toronto; and his great grandchildren, Max, Anna (Dubai) and Carson. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
