He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth McDermott and Patricia Collins. He is survived by: his son Ryan; his brother Chris; his sister-in-law Faye; and his sister Sheilagh.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Complex (1250 Trim Rd, Orléans, ON K4A 3P7).
