She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Saunders (Shearer) and Charles Saunders (late Douglas Nicholls); her siblings, Gail (Mann), Anne (Chychrun) and Ross (Saunders); and her daughter Jennifer (Robicheau).

She is survived by: her daughters, Erika Hanson (Brian) and Andrea Nicholls (Theo); and her grandchildren, Brittany (JP), Brandon (Felicity), Sydney, Connor, Maier, Jordan and Kennedy.
