He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Torontow and Joseph Torontow; and his siblings, Sara Rubin, Faye Kapinsky (Nap) and Saul Torontow (Eva).
He is survived by: his wife Stella (Gandall); and his children, Karen and Seth Silverman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
