“I have had the pleasure of golfing with Norma for a number of years. She was a wonderful, brave woman and a pretty good golfer too! While I am happy she is with Jesus, her Saviour and Friend, I am sure you will all miss her as will I. I look forward to seeing her again. Praying for you all.”

Elizabeth Clarke wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Scott, We were really sad to hear of your mom's passing. She sang with the St. Paul's choir at the memorial service for Steve's mom in January.. Little did we know that would be our last time to visit with her. Your mom was always so nice to us growing up and even more recently - always asking how we were and about our family . I am sure that you will miss her kindness, support and presence very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Steve and Liz Clarke”

“Norma was my wonderful golf buddy, who i thought the world of. She will always have a special place in my heart, it’s been a few years since we played, but the last time she did play was her best game ever, though of course she would not take the compliments, that’s norma. Family was always a topic of conversation and she loved you all. My condolences to you all. Lorraine lawler”

Cathy Belanger wrote a sympathy message

“I volunteered with Norma at the airport on the same Friday shift for the past 6 months. Your mom was amazing. She was inspiring and truly a role model. The fact she would drive to her shift every 2nd Friday, regardless of the pain she was in was remarkable. We had a hoot. Even though she was 30 years older, we got along like we had known each other for ages. We laughed and chatted between clients at the arrival desk. She was so proud of her family! I will miss her a lot.”
