It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nesbitt (O'Connor) Clare Saunders (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Saunders (Donald Nesbitt); her parents, Margaret O'Connor and Joseph O'Connor; her sisters, Marian (John Dowdall) and Moira O'Connor; and also, Wilma (Doug Craig), Kathleen (Charles Edwards) and Eileen (Brian Killen).
She is survived by: her children, Shivaun (Eric Lehmann) and Robert Saunders (Carrie Penney); her siblings, Paul O'Connor (Linda), Philip O'Connor (Tilly), Jerome O'Connor (Shirley), Vincent O'Connor (Marion), Janet O'Connor (late Curtis Harry), Steve O'Connor (Terry Watters) and Simon Auriat; her stepchildren, Wade (Tricia), Kristy (Ralph) and Ryan; her stepgrandchildren, Nolan, Carter, Brayden and Parker; and also, Jean Mulville (late Errol) and Brent Saunders (Karen). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blair & Son Funeral Home (15 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L7). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church She Was Named (4009 Dwyer Hill Rd, Ottawa, ON K0A1B0).
