It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nassif Abou-Assaly (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Abou-Assaly and Elias Abou-Assaly; his sibling Dounia (Emile El-Agha); his sibling-in-law Ghassan Hajjar; and his stepchild Robbie Dahdouh.

He is survived by: his wife Sophie Dahdouh; his brothers, Nicolas (Daad Maalouf), George, John (Bahaa Abdelkarim) and Michel (Hanaa Abou-Assaly); his siblings-in-law, Tony, Nidal and George; his nieces and nephews, Khouloud, Denise, Rony, Roger El-Agha, Ghassan, Imad, Nicole, Pascale, Fadi, Lydia, Elias, Christine and Mary-Lynne Abou-Assaly; and his stepchildren, Simon (Linda) and Gabby (Kelly).
