She is survived by: her husband Norman Smith; her children, Jason Smith (Candace-Labelle Smith), Chris Smith (Brenda Abbott) and Wendy Stratton (Ian Stratton); and her grandchildren, Ashton, Anneliese, Jackson, Harper, Claire and Owen.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Nancy's honour.
