Mouna Daou Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mouna Daou (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mouna Daou to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mouna shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mouna farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Daou; and her children, Rita (Elias Merheb), Najib (Carole), Hanna (Eliane), Antoinette (Nick Mikhael) and Georges (Gabriella).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral (2975 Riverside Dr., Ottawa, ON K1V0Z3). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Ave., Vanier, ON K1L8A6).
