He was predeceased by: his wife Violet Hamway; and his siblings-in-law, Bahjat (Renée Nahra) and Claudette Hamway (George Ina). He is survived by: his children, Elie Helal (Hayat Ibrahim) and Rhonda Helal (John Rassi); his grandchildren, Shayna, Kristin Helal, Matthew and Michael Rassi; his siblings, Jeanette (Halim Saikaly), Jaqueline (Said Kajjouni), George (Hind Ayoub), Sonia (Joe Beauchamp), Siham (Simon Kouri) and Bertha (Joe Nemer); and his siblings-in-law, Chouaa (Joseph Hayek), Charlie (Bianca Dzafarov), Omer (Amal Nahra) and George (Theresa Ina).

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family is requesting that everyone be double vaccinated and show proof, distancing and face mask regulations are in effect.
