We bid farewell to Monique Claire Giroux (Ottawa, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 7, 2024 at the age of 79. Monique Claire touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thérèse Viau and Gérard Renaud; her sisters, Gisèle (Léo Lacombe), Mariette Payer (Roger), Suzanne and Rachel; and her siblings-in-law, Réjean (late Jeannine Villeneuve) and Denise (Frank McMurran).

She is survived by: her husband René Giroux; her children, Manon, Régi (Chantal Emard) and Patrick (Julie Tousignant); her grandchildren, Danick, Maxim (Lyssa Dupont), Cody, Sabrina (Raphaël Chasles), Julien, Mélodie and Alexy; her sisters, Lisette (Jacques Larivière) and Paulette; and her brother-in-law Rhéal (Lise Papillon). She is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and friends.
