He is survived by: his wife Avtar Kaur Badwal; his children, Jasbir Singh Badwal (Ravinder), Sweety (Mohinder Paul Singh) and Gurvinder Kaur (Charanjit Singh); and his grandchildren, Puneet, Eena, Sumeet, Jeevan, Navjot, Ravleen and Eshleen. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
