He was predeceased by: his wife Pat (Letetia Mae); his parents, Koenraad Nyenhuis and Edith Nyenhuis; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Daley and Ethel Duplessis.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Nyenhuis (Claudette) of Ottawa, Mary Lynn Lalonde (Mike) of Halifax and Elizabeth Dettweiler (Greg) of Mississauga; his grandchildren, Jessica, Lilly, Grace, Kimberly, Hope, Reid, Gordon and Rose; his sister Lucia Daley (family: Kate McMahon, Charlie Daley, Patricia McAllister, Lori Delanoy, Fred Jr.); and his brother-in-law Freddie Duplessis (Kathryn MacLean).
