He was predeceased by: his parents, Daundage Daniel Fernando and Gallage Adelin Fernando. He is survived by: his wife Indrani Fernando; his son Roy Fernando of Ottawa; and his sisters, Gertrude Lakshmi Fernando of Vancouver, BC and Daundage Volga Chithrawali Karunadasa (Chithra) of Sri Lanka.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6).
